Community Outreach

The Alexandria Breast Cancer Walk

was founded by City Manager (and cancer survivor), Vola Lawson. The Walk raises funds to make affordable mammography and screenings for any woman in Alexandria, regardless of her ability to pay.  The TWIG is a major Sponsor every October and encourages members to join hundred of Alexandria's citizens in the Walk to fight Breast Cancer.
